Stacey Parent- Bio

Victoria born, and raised my family in the burbs of Vancouver, working for a large company for 31 years. Retired in 2019 and in the spring of 2020 re-located to wonderful Peachland.  I’ve raised a son and daughter, and now reap the glorious benefits of 3 grandchildren.

I learned to crochet as a Brownie to earn a badge!  My mom taught me the tough lesson (and many tears) of ripping out mistakes.   After my son was born in 1982, I taught myself to knit.  It has become a blessing and a curse and comes with me on all my adventures. Living in the Okanagan has afforded me to befriend an owner of an Alpaca Farm and shop for the loveliest of yarns at local shops.   Knitting also keeps me sane. I think!
