COURSE DESCRIPTION:

One day, a 4-hour course will give students the basic skills required to create with stained glass.  Students will learn about safety, glass selection, pattern preparation, glass cutting, copper foiling, soldering, and wax finishing.  There will be several beginner-friendly patterns to choose from that will allow you to complete a beautiful suncatcher to take home.

Students wanting to continue learning can follow up with an intermediate course covering more significant and complex patterns.

PROFICIENCY LEVEL

Beginner Course for people not familiar with stained glass crafting. The Intermediate Course will be for any students that take the beginner course and are interested in further learning.

NUMBER OF STUDENTS:

Minimum of 2, maximum of 3

COURSE FREQUENCY:

Depending on demand, the course can be held throughout all seasons, once or twice a month.

VENUE:

It will be held at my home studio

COURSE MATERIALS:

All tools, glass, and materials will be provided and included in the course fees.  Students will need to have closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). Safety glasses are mandatory (students can bring their own, or I can provide them)

Bring a bag lunch.

INSTRUCTOR FEE:

The course fee will be $150 for 4 hours
