His background is mainly in business development in the areas of photography, financial planning, construction, and real estate investment.
His teaching experience encompasses photography, conducting seminars in financial planning and real estate investment as well as carpentry. He has taught scuba diving as well.
She taught Fibre art workshops for elementary schools and Horticultural groups in NZ and holds workshops in her studio and across the Okanagan for the past 18 years. She featured in Sculpture Pacific in Canada, Wine Trails, Okanagan Home and Sage-ing (a publication of the Okanagan Institute) amongst other publications.
Darlene is a Certified Educational Assistant (CEA). She worked with children from the Elementary school level to Senior Secondary as well with Interior Health assisting adults with disabilities. For the past ten years, she has created educational on the protection programs for the preservation of the bat species.
Research assistant/writer at the University of Calgary, involved in inquiry-based education. Wrote papers and websites on curriculum design and early learning for nine years. Currently the Publisher and Editor for The Phoenix news source.
Rod holds a B.A. in Recreational Admin. He also has a diploma in outdoor recreational management. He has held the position of Manager at YMCA Outdoor/Environmental Education Centre in Alberta for Ten years and Facilitator of Personal and organizational development seminars in Western Canada, Yukon, USA for five years.
Lee is an instructor teaching elements of power carving and is the owner of Peachi Tikis Custom Carvings here in Peachland. Lee spent 14 years in sales, and business management. He worked as a trainer, wrote training courses and safety plans. He has managed a small trucking company in Alberta.
Ever since she was a young girl, she was always interested in several different crafting mediums but about 25 years ago was introduced to stained glass and has been hooked ever since. In the beginning, she was raising a family of 4 young girls, working full time as a dental assistant, playing slo-pitch, and volunteering with the local Search and Rescue team so I didn’t have a lot of spare time to seriously focus on glasswork. In 2014, her daughters were all grown Shauna and her husband, Bill, moved to Peachland to start a new chapter in their lives.
